Shirdi: Home of Shirdi Sai Baba
About 90 km from Nashik (roughly 2 to 2.5 hours by road), Shirdi is one of the most visited pilgrimage towns in India, home to the Samadhi Mandir of Shirdi Sai Baba. Many Kumbh Mela pilgrims combine their trip with a Shirdi visit, since it fits comfortably as a day trip or overnight extension.

About 60 km from Nashik, the Saptashrungi Devi temple sits on a hill named for its seven peaks (Sapta means seven, Shrungi means peaks). It is considered one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, sacred sites associated with Goddess Sati according to Puranic tradition, and is especially popular with devotees of the Devi.
Anjneri Hill: Birthplace of Lord Hanuman
About 22 km from Nashik, close to Trimbakeshwar, Anjneri hill is widely believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. It is also a popular trekking spot, with a temple partway up the hill.
