What Puja to Do at Each Char Dham - Rituals Explained Simply

Many pilgrims travel thousands of kilometres to reach the Char Dham - and then stand in the darshan queue without knowing what to do when they finally reach the sanctum.

This guide is for you. It tells you simply - what to do, what to say, what to offer, and what to avoid at each of the four Dhams. You do not need to be a Sanskrit scholar. You do not need an expensive pandit. You just need to know the basics - and come with a full heart.

पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति । तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः ॥

Patram pushpam phalam toyam, yo me bhaktyaa prayachchhati | Tadaham bhakty-upahritam, ashnaami prayataatmanah ||

Meaning: Whoever offers Me a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water with devotion - I accept that offering made with love by the pure-hearted devotee.

- Bhagavad Gita 9.26 - Lord Krishna to Arjuna

God does not ask for expensive rituals. A leaf offered with love is enough. But knowing the right rituals makes the experience deeper and more complete.
