Not everyone can travel to all four Dhams right away. Some may be waiting for the right time. Some may have health restrictions. Some may be saving money for the trip. Elderly parents at home may not be able to travel but long deeply for a glimpse of the Lord. And some may simply want the peace and blessing of daily darshan from home.
For all such devotees - the gift of technology is now available. You can have darshan of all four Dhams from the comfort of your home, through YouTube - on your phone, tablet, computer or television. All links on this page have been verified and are active.
God is not bound by distance. He is everywhere. A darshan received with a clean heart and sincere devotion - even from home - carries his full blessing.
Before You Watch - How to Make Your Home Darshan Most Meaningful
A few simple things will make your home darshan a real spiritual experience rather than just watching a video:
- Light a small diya (lamp) in front of you before you begin. The light of the diya symbolises your prayer reaching the Lord.
- Light a stick of incense - agarbatti. The fragrance prepares the mind for prayer.
- Wash your hands and face before sitting for darshan - as you would before entering any temple.
- Sit quietly for a few moments before starting the video. Take a slow breath. Let the day's worries settle. Then open the darshan with a full heart.
- Chant the appropriate mantra while watching - see the mantra suggestions for each Dham below.
- Do not watch on full screen with distractions around you - treat it as real darshan, not background viewing.
As our scriptures say - Yad Bhavam Tad Bhavati - as is the feeling, so is the experience. When you receive darshan with genuine love and devotion, the blessing is real.

A Word About Home Darshan and Physical Pilgrimage
Home darshan through YouTube is a blessing - especially for elderly parents, for those recovering from illness, for those far away from the Dhams, and for those who are preparing for the journey and want to begin building their connection with each place.
But our scriptures are also clear: the merit of physically travelling to the Dham, standing on that sacred soil, bathing in those sacred waters, breathing that sacred air - is many times greater than any home darshan. The body's journey matters. The effort of travelling matters. The sacrifice of making the trip and the tiredness at the end of each day - all of that is part of the blessing.
So use home darshan as a beginning - as a way of building your love and longing for the Lord. Let each darshan you watch from home make you want more. Let it plant the seed of the real Yatra in your heart. And when the time is right - go.
The Lord is waiting. He has been waiting - in his temple at the top of the Himalayas, on his island in the Tamil Nadu sea, in his royal city on the Gujarat shore, in his great hall at Puri - for thousands of years. He has infinite patience. Come when you can. He will be there. Jai Char Dham.
